More on WWE’s name change, Kong-WrestleMania update

- The earlier report about a meeting held yesterday where the subject was about no longer being called World Wrestling Entertainment due to the desire to eliminate the word “wrestling” from the product is the real deal. This comes on the heels of a WWE representative telling TVWeek.com that they were not to be called a wrestling company. They demanded a Hall of Fame headline be edited without the world ‘wrestling’ in it. TVWeek.com opted to remove the article instead and then posted a follow-up on how stupid WWE’s demands were.

- As noted earlier here on the website, Awesome Kong was spotted at the Atlanta airport. It is worth noting that the company brings in everyone for WrestleMania so she may not debut on the show.

Report: Awesome Kong spotted in Atlanta, GA (Pic)

Former TNA Women’s Knockout Champion Awesome Kong was spotted today at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Also, a fan today posted a cell phone photo online of Kong sleeping on a flight en route to Atlanta earlier today. You can click here to view it.

Also, a source sent this one in: Possible Spoiler…Just saw Shelton Benjamin at airport. Of course, Shelton is in town for the ROH i-PPV events.

Royal Rumble News: 2 talents removed, Kong's debut

– WWE Superstars Superstars Darren Young, David Hart Smith and Primo were advertised on WWE.com for last night’s 40-Man Royal Rumble Match but ultimately excluded. All three were not backstage at the Rumble as they were informed last week that they had been taken off the show. Smith, however, is in Providence for tonight’s RAW.

– Awesome Kong was backstage at last night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Boston. She teased appearing at the event yesterday on Twitter, but did not appear on camera.
