Vengeance dark match, WWE ring breaks, The Rock

– Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan again with the Wasteland in the WWE Vengeance dark match.

– Just because so many people have asked, yes, the ring was gimmicked for The Big Show vs. Mark Henry match. WWE’s ring crew rigged it during the middle of the match. More on this tomorrow (Monday).

– William Regal defeated Ace Steele at a WLW show in Eldon, MO last night for the annual Harley Race training camp. Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat was also there watching all of the matches and giving feedback.

– The Rock commented on WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view via Twitter last night:

Major HIAC Creative changes, HIAC attendance

– Creative changed the planned finish to Sunday nights WWE Championship Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match between John Cena, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio during the afternoon hours. The finish to the World Heavyweight Championship Hell in a Cell Match between Mark Henry and Randy Orton was the same as was planned a few days back.

– Four third row seats grouped together for Sunday nights Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana were available as of this morning. Furthermore, the seats were facing the camera.

WWE SmackDown!:

Booker T started off the show by interviewing Mark Henry, who said he was going to end Randy Orton’s career. Henry said Orton isn’t going to beat him just like Great Khali won’t beat him tonight.

1. Mark Henry beat The Great Khali. Henry won with the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry attacked Khali after the match with a chair. He put Khali’s foot inside the chair and smashed it like he did with Kane and Big Show.

2. Jack Swagger (w/Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero) beat Evan Bourne (w/Kofi Kingston). Swagger won after Vickie pushed Bourne off the top rope. Swagger followed up with the ankle lock and got the win.

3. Sin Cara beat Heath Slater. Sin Cara won with the Swanton Bomb. Post match, the other Sin Cara appeared on the Tron and cut a promo in Spanish. He took his mask off to reveal a new black mask and black outfit. He said this Sunday we will find out who is supposed to be Sin Cara.

Backstage, John Laurinaitis talked with the group of wrestlers who plan on suing. They all agreed to take action against Triple H this Monday.

4. Kelly Kelly beat Natalya (w/Beth Phoenix). Kelly Kelly won with a roll up. After the match, Beth hit the Glam Slam on Kelly Kelly. Natalya put her in a submission maneuver as Beth cut a promo.

Cody Rhodes cut a promo about Randy Orton’s actions from last week and how WWE took no action. He was not happy about defending his title against Sheamus tonight.

5. Sheamus beat Cody Rhodes via disqualification. Christian came in and jumped Sheamus for the DQ. After the match, Christian hit the Killswitch on Sheamus.

6. Zack Ryder beat JTG. Ryder won with the Rough Ryder.
Backstage, Triple H confronted John Laurinaitis about the meeting he had with the disgruntled superstars. Laurinaitis said he was loyal to Triple H.

They ran down the card for HIAC. Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara was one of the matches listed.

7. Randy Orton fought Christian to a double countout. After the match, Orton tried to beat up Christian. Cody came out and attacked Orton. Sheamus came and cleared the ring and chased Christian to the back. Henry then came out to attack Orton and hit the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry went to get a chair, but when he got back in the ring Orton hit him with an RKO.

Dark Match
1. Randy Orton beat Mark Henry via DQ. Christian and Dolph Ziggler came out to beat up Orton. Orton ended up disposing of both of them with RKO’s as Henry headed to the back.

WWE.com: Kane Out 3+ Months

WWE.com announced Saturday that Kane will be sidelined for at least three months due to a fractured fibula. He sustained the injury while being attacked by Mark Henry, which occurred moments after Randy Orton defeated the multi-time champion in a Street Fight.

Similar to what he did to Big Show at Money in the Bank, Mark Henry brutalized Kane’s leg using a steel chair on the July 22 edition of SmackDown. The attack occurred just moments after Orton defeated Kane in a brutal Street Fight.

According to WWE doctor Michael Sampson, Kane suffered a fractured fibula, which will keep him out of the ring for at least three months. “But because of potential complications with such a severe injury, it could also keep him out of action for an undetermined amount of time,” Sampson said.

– Attended the Axxess morning session, Mark Henry has to be the biggest jerk in WWE. Completely rude to fans all morning, and he stiffed a kid out of a picture by saying “respect my privacy”. Dude, you’re at Axxess for a reason, to meet the fans!

– Just got done with Morning Madness, Randy Orton was very humble and in good spirits. It took around 2 hours to get through but we joined the line when we woke up rather than rushing down early. On to the ROH next.

– Hi! Justin Roberts just tweeted the following film form Axxes: www.twitvid.com/QTWCQ The Corre attacked him right after his match. WWE has confirmed that this happened just now, and they are using the term:Breaking news. – The party at the hotel bar lasted til the wee hours of the morning…The WWE was represented nicely by Hall of Famers Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, Harley Race, and Hall of Fame inductee Joe (Road Warrior Animal) Laurinaitis, Sunny…Nexxus was represented by Husky Harris and Mike McGuillicutty, Divas in attendance were Brie Bella, Nattalya, Melina and Rosa Mendes…Jim Ross was also there, as well as John Morrison, Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, Kevin Nash, Sean (Xpac) Waldman and Joey Styles…Most were very happy to sign autographs and take pics with fans…Most of top talent were not seen at the bar but were freely walking through the lobby stopping to sign and chat with fans…Seen in the lobby throughout the day were Hall of famer Rowdy Roddy Piper, Hall of Fame Inductee Drew Carey, Gold Dust, Jerry The King Lawler, Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart, Lita, Randy Orton, Broadus Clay, Kelly Kelly, Dolph Ziggler and Edge. Quick note about Axxess…Way too many people are allowed in and lines were ridiculously long to meet mid card talent…You cannot meet any of the top talent without VIP ticket. Zach Ryder-WrestleMania, WWE-MLB update

– Mark Henry threw out the first pitch at last night’s Atlanta Braves game. Eve and Melina said “play ball” together to open the game and John Morrison was a special co-captain.

– Zack Ryder will be filming more episodes of Z! True Long Island Story this weekend in Atlanta.

- WWE has started promoting the March 8th DVD release of The Chaperone on DVD and Blu-Ray. Wal-Mart has a lot of advertising for it already up.

- During the commercial break between the Diva Tag match and the 2-21-11 reveal, WWE ran a WrestleMania ad in Canada that showed Taker/HHH staring each other down at the end of the package.
