– A source sent this report in: Chris Jericho danced again tonight on Dancing with the Stars. The theme of the evening was personal stories. The stars could choose a song that meant something to them. Chris chose The Beatles’ “Let It Be”. In the pre-taped piece, he told the story of his mother’s accident as he finished wrestling school that confined her to a wheelchair until her death in 2005. He prepared to give up wrestling but she insisted he continue to pursue his dream. He then said his real name is Chris Irvine and for the first time in 20 years in his professional life he would be performing as himself and not a character. The announcer introduced him for the dance as Chris Irvine. He danced a rumba with his partner Cheryl Burke and received a score of 21. The judges commented on some of the lack of technical skill but complimented the emotional connection and Chris moved one of the judges to tears.

Did Sting recently negotiate with WWE?

Multiple TNA sources indicate there were no real discussions between Steve “Sting” Borden and WWE. Any talk of Sting being tied to the ’2-21-11′ vignettes were false, although some within TNA insist company president Dixie Carter was convinced that was case until ‘Taker’s face was shown. Others within the company say Sting and Dixie had been in talks for weeks negotiating a new contract and Dixie knew that Sting wasn’t the type of guy who would “screw her over and jump ship to WWE”.

People within TNA were predicting that Sting wouldn’t join WWE due to the comfort level he has with the Nashville based organization and wrestlers he counts on to carry him in the ring. There is also some heat between Sting and Vince McMahon from years ago. WWE has sent ‘feelers’ Sting’s way numerous times throughout the years and he has always turned them down. There is also no way that Sting would work a full-time WWE schedule including house shows as he’s considered a “family man” these days. He is willing to work the TNA schedule as it allows him to spend time at home with his wife and kids.

TMZ posts ‘Shocking’ video of Shad Gaspard’s arrest

TMZ has posted video of Shad Gaspard’s arrest from this weekend in Ohio. MMA fighter Josh Barnett shot the footage, which begins just after Gaspard was taken to the ground. Shad can be heard saying, “Why am I being arrested? Because I’m big and I’m black?” One of the officers claims that he was resisting arrest. Witness even say to the camera that they did not see Shad do anything wrong. Shad feels that he is the victim of racial profiling, and that he will fight this.

“I don’t know exactly what to do yet, but I will fight this as much as possible. I’m not doing it for the money, I have the means, I’m doing this so cops don’t think they can do this to someone else … it’s not right.”
