Anti-John Cena Signs Confiscated, Phoenix/Piper

– WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix noted on Twitter that the white wrist tape and plaid belt she was wearing last night at the Elimination Chamber per-view was to pay homage to Roddy Piper.

– Going all the way back to 2009, Sunday night’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view was the first Chamber-related event where the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight Title did not change hands.

– WWE officials were confiscating anti-John Cena signs during the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view last night. This comes on the heels of WWE selling anti-John Cena t-shirts.

Big Night of Champions *Spoilers!*

At last word, CM Punk and Triple H’s No DQ match was scheduled to go on last as the main event of tonight’s WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view.

Many people within WWE are expecting Kevin Nash to do a run-in during the Punk vs. Triple H match tonight, leading to a possible Punk vs. Nash match at Hell in a Cell or a triple threat.

Beth Phoenix has been scheduled to win the WWE Divas Title from Kelly Kelly at tonight’s show from her hometown of Buffalo, New York.

Beth Phoenix takes shot at Melina

Beth Phoenix was apparently scripted to take a shot at recently released WWE Diva Melina during her promo this week on RAW in which she said she was sick of the Divas division being made a mockery of. “No more booty popping, no more splits, no more stink faces,” Beth said following her victory over Eve.

Melina wrote on Twitter, “PS- Any Diva can try 2 do a split from here on out but what the WWE confirmed is that the SPLITS will always remind the world of me. Thank u.”

She continued, “I love the statement peeps! I bet the powers that be were waiting all night 2 hear that line go on air. Hee hee. I find it very flattering!”

CM Punk Visits Pizza Shop – G.T.S Pizza Created!

CM Punk has his own style of pizza at a place in Chicago called Ian’s.

Punk visited Ian’s Pizza in Wrigleyville Thursday to make the G.T.S. pizza, which Ian’s obviously named after Punk’s signature move. The former WWE champion was accompanied by real-life girlfriend and WWE Diva Beth Phoenix and Ring of Honor wrestler Colt Cabana.

The G.T.S pizza features smoked turkey leg, sliced potatoes, Swiss cheese and French fried onions on a creme fraiche base. The owner of the shop said the following: “The G.T.S. is his signature move, so a meat that puts you to sleep is the perfect choice.”

The pizza will be available Monday through Sunday and was created for SugarSlam 2011, a wrestling-themed baking contest hosted by bakeanddestroy.com. The judge panel for the contest features WWE Diva Beth Phoenix, Moto executive pastry chef Ben Roche and author Mike Edison.

Kelly Kelly remembers Test, Beth Phoenix-Playboy?, RAW

– Tonight’s RAW taping at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. is not sold out but all the floor and second row seats are gone as noted earlier. After WWE had not sold out a show in months, (sans the Royal Rumble), RAW has sold out three consecutive weeks. We’ll see what the walk-up is today in St. Louis.

– A fan asked Beth Phoenix today on Twitter if she’ll ever pose for Playboy. She responded, “Never ever.”

– Today marks the second anniversary of the passing of former WWE talent Andrew “Test” Martin, who succumbed following an accidental overdose of the painkiller oxycodone. WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, who was involved in a two-and-a-half year relationship with Martin, posted a remembrance on her Twitter account.

“Forever and always in my heart Andrew Martin not a day goes by I don’t think of you,” she wrote. “I know he’s in heaven watching over all of his jobbers @thetommydreamer :) thinking of all the great memories we had today.”

John Cena pulled from RAW tonight

– The reason that John Cena was pulled from tonight’s RAW event in Minnesota so he could attend a Super Bowl weekend promotional event being promoted by Gillette. Gillette uses Cena as a spokesmen for some of their commercial campaigns.

– Beth Phoenix teased the following yesterday on Twitter: “Great things are on the horizon for The Glamazon….keep your eyes peeled….soon. Very soon!”

WWE Diva wants to compete in The Royal Rumble

Beth Phoenix revealed to SLAM! Wrestling that she wants another Royal Rumble opportunity. “The Glamazon” took part in last year’s showcase, kissing and then eliminating The Great Khali.

“There’s 10 more spots, and that means 10 more chances to go an compete in the Royal Rumble, and go and compete, to wrestle for the World heavyweight championship at WrestleMania,” she said. “I think that the odds are a little bit better this year to get another opportunity, but like all the superstars, we don’t find out until the very last minute. So, there’s always a chance. That’s the great thing about watching it on pay-per-view is that you never know what you’re going to see.”
