WWE Divas upset with Trish Stratus over WrestleMania spot
It was reported yesterday that there is backstage heat on John Morrison and Melina as a result of their behind the scenes treatment of Trish Stratus. It was claimed that either he or Melina, his girlfriend, felt Stratus took her spot at Wrestlemania XXVII. Morrison rejected various ideas Stratus had for the match and was said to be very difficult to work with. During the live performance, Morrison appeared visibly cold to Status, not making eye contact with her and dodging her following its conclusion. Morrison’s treatment of Stratus reportedly hurt her feelings. Word quickly spread amongst the locker room, garnering heat for both himself and Melina among some circles.
According to a friend of Melina’s, the RAW Diva is legitimately upset with Stratus. Melina has privately said that her source of contention with Stratus is not because she herself was snubbed from WrestleMania due to her, but because many of the Divas were. She’s upset that many of them were snubbed from the grand event when they’re on the road throughout the year, unlike her. Melina also said that she’s not the only girl upset with Stratus “taking their spot.”
Melina wrote a message on Twitter Tuesday defending her Diva peers, and that she will fight for them.
“I was eliminated from TE…Look how far I’ve come. I’m not the best but God knows I try my best! Thru all the h8 I’m still standing strong!”
“I don’t care what ANY1 says, WWE Divas CAN wrestle. We prove it when we get time. I believe in them. I will fight 4 them until U see what I C.”
“Thank you everyone. We have a strong group of women in the WWE. A roster that I’m proud to & be a part of.”
Regarding the validity of the story, former WWE talent Sean Waltman (a/k/a X-Pac), who was on hand for WrestleMania festivities in Atlanta, wrote yesterday on Twitter that a participant of the Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match did not behave in a professional manner. He wrote to Stratus, “It was wonderful seeing you this weekend. You are a true professional, unlike someone else in your match and I don’t mean Snookie.”
He then added that he was very surprised and disappointed by the person’s unprofessionalism.
Report: Scott Hall hospitalized – drug overdose
Former WWE and TNA talent Scott Hall has been hospitalized following a drug overdose. No further details are available at this time.
The former Intercontinental Champion has been battling serious health issues over the past year. He was hospitalized last June for double pneumonia, which had affected both lungs. He was hospitalized again in August due to complications from pneumonia. After recovering, Hall checked into a WWE-sponsored rehabilitation facility, and checked out in early October. Hall was hospitalized weeks later as he needed a pacemaker implanted into his heart.
Hall claimed last week he would not be on hand for the WrestleMania XXVII festivities in Atlanta, Georgia because the atmosphere would be detrimental to his quest to stay sober.
He posted his last Twitter message Sunday night while watching WrestleMania XXVII, writing “Taker wins!”
Matt Hardy denies WrestleMania altercation reports
It was reported earlier that an altercation took place late Sunday night at a sports bar between members of the WWE Tough Enough cast and TNA Wrestling performer Matt Hardy.
The incident occurred at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Atlanta, where WWE held the reality show contestants and consumers who purchased WrestleMania XXVII travel packages.
Many of the cast members were watching WrestleMania at the hotel’s sports bar and warmly greeting fans. Michelle Deighton, in particular, was giving fans chops. Hardy and girlfriend Reby Sky, who were in town for the Dragon Gate USA Show, appeared at the bar (after being denied access to the WrestleMania after-party) and reportedly engaged in an argument with the WWE Tough Enough members at 3:00 a.m., causing a scene in front of numerous fans.
Shortly after the story broke out, Matt Hardy posted several messages on his Twitter account poking fun at internet reports. He jokingly wrote, “Well, since it’s out- Yeah, @RebySky & myself beat up the entire Tough Enough crew after her DGUSA show-Reby beat up 4 girls, I beat 9 guys!”
He later clarified his remarks, writing, “Just so everyone knows, the silly story we’ve been joking about 2day was created by a dirtsheet, not by Reby or I. Solid reporting there WO.”
Sky clarified the situation as well, adding, “The dirtsheets were writing that me & Matt had gotten into a “serious altercation” w/the Tough Enough cast on WrestleMania weekend, which was so ridiculously erroneous that we made a sarcastic comment about “taking down” the entire cast. SARCASTIC. As in ha-ha-making-a-funny-because-the-dirtsheets-are-crazy-get-a-fking-sense-of-humor.
“For the record, Matt & I had a wonderful weekend – He came down to support me at @DragonGateUSA & we were nowhere near the TE cast.”
Shortly after the incident took place, Hardy wrote on his Twitter account, “Well, it’s official..Me & @RebySky are muthaf*ckin Banditos..I always liked the Hilton better anyway.”
Sky wrote, “Banned for life. It was worth it.” She then added, “We’re headed back to North Carolina – Goodbye Georgia, your crazy fans, your crazy cops & your even crazier hotel security personnel.”
When asked on Formspring what she and Hardy were banned from, Sky stated they were “banned for life” from an Atlanta hotel. Damage control at its finest folks!
WWE Diva Maryse tweets homophobic remark
Maryse said a homophobic remark late last night on Twitter, writing, “Ur sooo gay…….”
It appears the WWE Diva blundered sending a private message as it was directed to no one in particular on her timeline. The tweet was deleted a short while later.
WWE has come under fire from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) in recent weeks, which took issue with ‘homophobic taunts’ John Cena directed towards Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on the February 28 episode of Monday Night RAW, as well as a homophobic slur Michael Cole tweeted to Josh Mathews on March 26. Cena’s unsavory verbiage prompted WWE to issue an apology and form a partnership with the organization on an anti-bullying campaign. WWE addressed Cole’s conduct by alerting GLAAD of the situation and announcing that he would partake in a training session.
Report: Tough Enough contestant nearly signed with TNA
– WWE Tough Enough contestant Jeremiah Riggs, the mixed martial artist, met with TNA Wrestling’s Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor about joining the promotion before he wound up on the reality program. The organization showed in interest in Riggs due to his role on VH1′s Daisy of Love and because he has prior wrestling experience. Riggs trained with Dutch Mantel before turning his focus to MMA.
– David Otunga celebrates his 31st birthday today.
Steve Austin: I Could Wrestle A Full-Time Schedule + More
Steve Austin recently spoke with Xfinity, promoting Tough Enough, here are the highlights…
On CM Punk: I really like C.M. Punk. I think he’s one of the top workers in the ring. I love his promos. I love his style. There’s no smoke and mirrors. I like the straight-edge lifestyle stuff he does. You want to start pairing that against the beer-guzzling “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, I think you’d have an interesting feud to say the least. He would push me to the limits, I would teach that kid a thing or two, and there would be some wonderful promos going back and forth. I like him a lot.
On Getting In The Ring On Tough Enough: One of the kids was pretty mechanically inclined, so I got in there with him…and shoot, I guess that means I haven’t been in the ring in seven or eight years…but I took a few bumps from him, gave him a few bumps, it was a lot of fun. I think if we do it again, I think I’ll be even more active and get in the ring a lot more.
On A Possible Return: I could still, you know if I was in a bad situation, I could still get two years out of my carcass on a full-time basis.” He then added, ” But I’m happy where I’m at. And in ten or twenty years I still want to be doing the things I’m doing with my hunting and fishing. I want to continue to do that in a pain-free fashion. And right now I’m living a pretty pain-free lifestyle.
On WWE’s Roster: They’re pretty thin on talent, they’ve had some injuries. They’ve brought the Rock in to host it. They brought me back. I didn’t know if the Undertaker was going to make it, he’s had some injuries. Triple H is getting back in the ring. Until they brought all those players out they had a lot of green guys.

Sytch stated she would not reveal who it is until the Diva in question goes public.

VIDEO: Drew Carey speaks on HOF induction + Lopez Recap
Partial Source: Pwinsider
– Here is a video of Drew Carey discussing his WWE Hall of Fame induction:
– A source sent this one in:
Drew Carey made an appearance on George Lopez on Tuesday night on TBS. They started talking about the WWE Hall of Fame very early on in the interview, as it was actually the second topic after how The Price is Right is doing. The exchange went like this:
Lopez: So I found this interesting. You’re being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Drew Carey in the Hall of Fame!
Carey: (grunts and poses as he walks towards one of the cameras)
Lopez: How does that happen?
Carey: The WWE Hall of Fame doesn’t actually exist anywhere. There’s no building if you want to go visit it. And all it is, is they, I don’t know, they started it not even that long ago, they started it in the 90s, and they started inducting, you know, wrestlers, famous wrestlers, but also for publicity purposes, to get people to watch the ceremony and stuff, they, or to help get people to watch that aren’t wrestling fans, they induct celebrities. Bob Uecker’s in it. Pete Rose is in it. William “Refrigerator” Perry’s in it.
Lopez: You!
Carey: And me! Yeah! I wrestled Kane in Royal Rumble.
Lopez: You guys know Kane?
Audience: (applause)
Carey: Yeah. This guy’s about 7ft tall and he’s like, we worked out the move ahead of time, but believe me that guy is strong as an ox. He put his hands on my shoulders, right, like he was choking me and then I put my hands on his forearms and then he was like this and he lifted me up. This is when I was fat!
Lopez: HAHA!
Carey: Like, you know, you do arm raises in the gym…
Lopez: He just curled you.
Carey: … and you got 10lb weights or something like that or 15lb weights and you’re like “ah my shoulders.” He did that, he picked me up when I was fat! That was like 230lbs of me he picked up!
Lopez: You remember when he was fat? That’s a lift right there!
Carey: Yeah man.
Lopez: With no belt! With no hernia belt!
Carey: No, nothing man! It was just him in his like wrestling clothes.
Lopez: Wow!
Carey: (sarcastically) So I did that. So I certainly deserve to be in the Hall of Fame for that!
Lopez: Yeah for that! For being snatched up!
Audience: (applause)

Report: Matt Hardy involved in altercation at WrestleMania
Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
There was an altercation between TNA Wrestling talent Matt Hardy and members of the WWE Tough Enough cast at a hotel bar in Atlanta, Georgia during WrestleMania XXVII weekend.
While details of the incident have yet to be disclosed, Reby Sky, Hardy’s real-life girlfriend, revealed on her Formspring account that she and Hardy were “banned for life” from the hotel in question.
One WWE source said that if a main roster talent had done some of the things they did, termination would be likely if they were low enough on the totem pole.
Report: Backstage heat on John Morrison & Melina
Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
– Randy Orton said on Twitter that WWE’s upcoming DVD on “The Viper” will be released in September and that he’ll post a link to a teaser clip soon. The working title for the product is The Randy Orton Experience.
– Dolph Ziggler is en route to Turkey to promote WWE’s upcoming tour in the country.
– There is backstage heat on real-life couple John Morrison and Melina.
Both Superstars felt that Trish Stratus took Melina’s spot in the Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match at Wrestlemania XXVII and have been giving her the cold shoulder since her return. Additionally, Morrison rejected various ideas Stratus had for their ongoing storyline.
Many feel this will hurt both Morrison and Melina since Stratus is highly regarded amongst WWE personnel.
Triple H & The Undertaker fined at WrestleMania 27
The Undertaker and Triple H have both been fined an undisclosed amount by WWE, due to them using a chair shot to the head spot at WrestleMania. Chair shots to the head are against company policy.
UPDATE: Here is the official blurb from the corporate website…
Superstars Fined for Chair Shot
Pursuant to WWE’s Concussion policy, the stunt of using a folded metal chair shot to the head is prohibited. Triple H and The Undertaker have both been fined for violating this policy at WrestleMania XXVII. WWE penalizes through fine and/or suspension for violation of this policy, which is unchanged and still in effect.

Jim Ross Blogs: WrestleMania Trip + Tough Enough
Jim Ross has a new blog up at http://www.JRSBARBQ.com/ Here are the highlights…
On WrestleMania: The overall experience at WM27 was outstanding. We got to see many old friends and met many new friends. The WWE fans who traveled from all points from around the world were a joy to meet except for those that wanted to pose for photos in the men’s room. :) Announcing at WM27 was an adrenaline rush but I’ll admit that I was rusty and had plenty of pre-match anxiety as I would have liked to have been able to prep more. Plus, one never knows after a long absence from WM’s just how one will respond in the heat of battle. Being able to team with The King on Sunday night and Monday, for a few minutes anyway on RAW, made things easier for me. Broadcaster chemistry cannot be manufactured and the King and I were fortunate enough to have natural chemistry essentially since early on in our announcing tenure.
On WrestleMania 28: The journey between now and WM28 in Miami could well be very compelling especially considering that a main event has already been tabbed, the Rock vs. John Cena. I have no issue whatsoever in dubbing a main event a year in advance because that provides fans with a destination and hopefully the journey to the destination will be full of twists and turns. The opportunity to build an amazing anticipation for this bout certainly exists. The other main event at WM28 would, obviously, involve the Undertaker’s Streak which is now such a part of the fabric of the event. The Streak is embedded in Wrestlemania and it is one of the most anticipated aspects of the biggest event of the year for me.
Tough Enough: Nonetheless, I loved Tough Enough and I hear that the upcoming episodes are much more compelling that the first of which I throughly enjoyed. I’m happy and proud of @steveaustinBSR as he is a genuine star who carries himself big time on the reality show that I felt was extremely well produced and edited. Beginning Monday, TE will air on Monday nights leading directly into Monday Night Raw. I hope that you will check it out. I’m DVR’ing the entire series.

Stacy Keibler speaks out (Video), Y2J/DWTS recap, More
– A source sent this report in: Chris Jericho danced again tonight on Dancing with the Stars. The theme of the evening was personal stories. The stars could choose a song that meant something to them. Chris chose The Beatles’ “Let It Be”. In the pre-taped piece, he told the story of his mother’s accident as he finished wrestling school that confined her to a wheelchair until her death in 2005. He prepared to give up wrestling but she insisted he continue to pursue his dream. He then said his real name is Chris Irvine and for the first time in 20 years in his professional life he would be performing as himself and not a character. The announcer introduced him for the dance as Chris Irvine. He danced a rumba with his partner Cheryl Burke and received a score of 21. The judges commented on some of the lack of technical skill but complimented the emotional connection and Chris moved one of the judges to tears.

WWE posted the following tonight on their Facebook page, confirming that WrestleMania 27 broke the entertainment event record for the Georgia Dome:
“Confirmed by our friends at The Georgia Dome, WWE WrestleMania XXVII did in fact set the entertainment event record, with 71,617 fans. The previous record holder, the Backstreet Boys, hosted 65,658 fans on Feb. 19, 2000. The number quoted by Billboard.com in a 2009 article was for a two-day event in Atlanta, not a single performance.”
RAW dark match & partial WWE Superstars *Spoilers!*
Source: Pwinsider
Dark Match:
Mark Henry v. Zack Ryder
Crowd is super hot. Big pop for Henry and Ryder got a decent pop as well. There was a large group in the crowd chanting “Let’s go Ryder (clap clap clap clap)”. Match was about 5 minutes. Ryder went for his finisher from 2nd rope countered with Worlds Strongest Slam for the pin. Henry got a good pop afterwards and got the crowd going.
\Josh Matthews and Scott Stanford come out for Superstars.
WWE Superstars:
Yoshi Tatsu v. Tyson Kidd
Yoshi got a good pop. Kidd got booed. Chants of “Yoshi” early on. Mat wrestling with Kidd working the arm. Yoshi counters then the two do a series of counters. Crowd is hot. The “Ryder” crowd is chanting “USA”… That’s funny because Yoshi is billed from Japan and Kidd from Canada. Brawl on the outside. Kidd hit a nice flapjack into the apron from the outside. Kidd get some heel heat from crowd. Kidd works Yoshi. Crowd is hot for Yoshi. Kidd hit a nice low dropkick to the back of the head on a seated Tatsu. While Kidd wears down Tatsu with a necklock, crowd chants “Let’s go Yoshi”. Yoshi hits a counter. They do the both men down, red counts spot. Yoshi gets back up first wit a series of chops and a dropkick. Near fall. Yoshi goes to the top, Kidd shoves him, crouching Tatsu. Kidd hit a top rope huracarana. Two count. Kidd goes for the Sharpshooter but Yoshi counters. Kidd goes for a springboard, Tatsu moves and hits the kick to the head for the pin. Tatsu celebrates.

WrestleMania Issues, WWE’s Attendance ‘Record’, JR-WWE
– Many people have reported that the DirecTV feed went out last night during the Jerry Lawler-Michael Cole match.
– A source sent this one in: I was at at a local Hooters watching WrestleMania, and just as Jerry Lawler went to pull Michael Cole out of his box, the signal was lost. It said that Hooters had not bought the PPV, but after several attempts to get the signal back, the manager said that it was a DirectTV problem. The blackout lasted about six minutes, and we had no problems the rest of the night.
– While WWE claimed the record for an “entertainment” event in the Georgia Dome last night, The Backstreet Boys had a crowd of 73,337 in 2000 at the building. WWE claimed an attendance of 71,617 as we noted late last night here on the website.
– Jim Ross posted the following on his Twitter… “Still celebrating my 1 off appearence @ wm27. Loved worked w/ @jerrylawler again. Not plans @ this time 2 reunite. Happy 2 b on the team.”
– Jim Ross also said on Twitter that he would be appearing at a show next weekend in Sand Springs, Oklahoma for fellow WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race.
Tons Of WrestleMania 27 Live News & Notes Inside
Source: Pwinsider.com
I just got back to the hotel from WM27. I will say that LIVE, this was an awesome show! Being in an arena the size of the Georgia Dome with the “smartest” of the “smart” fans is definitely an experience.
The crowd was pretty pissed when Sheamus/Bryan came out for the dark match…. which turned into a battle royal… that ended with Sheamus eliminating Bryan and then Khali eliminating Sheamus? … Not sure about that one, but I will say that Khali is over as the goofy giant gimmick.
The Rock intro LIVE was completely awesome. Loudest pop of the night by far. He had the crowd in the palm of his hands with every word that he said. Great way to start off the show.
The opener of Del Rio/Edge was solid. The crowd was ready for two things that never happened. Everyone was waiting for Christian to turn on Edge… never happened. Then everyone was expecting Del Rio to win the belt…. never happened. The car being destroyed was pretty lame from the section I was in.
The Mysterio/Rhodes match was actually pretty good. Mysterio got a decent pop. Everyone were I was sitting (smart fan central) was expecting Rey Rey to win and when Cody got the victory everyone was pretty shocked but were happy that Rhodes didn’t get buried.
The Snoop Dogg/Teddy Long segment was like… eh… whatever. Snoop did get a good pop from the crowd and so did Regal’s bit. Hornswoggle got groans from my section of the arena. But I will say that his “rap” was over with the crowd, they popped for it.
The 8-man was my first restroom break. I literately walked to the restrooms and walked back in what was like 5 minutes and the faces were doing the trumpet celebration. The replays of Slater getting KO’d were a little excessive I thought.
Rock/Eve/Mae Young. OK segment. Of course Rock being in it was the only reason anyone was interested. It is what it is.
Orton/Punk was a great match. Great psychology and Punk is just awesome with the facials. Dueling chants through the whole match “Let’s Go Punk/RKO” over and over again. Crowd popped for the springboard clothesline countered into the RKO finisher. Great match.
Rock/Mean Gene. Again. The crowd only cared because Rock was in the segment… although Pee Wee got a nice pop. Crowd loved the Cena insults from Rock. The Austin/Rock stare down got a good pop with everyone waiting to see what happens next. Great teaser.
Hall of Fame. Abby and Bob Armstrong got great pops. Sunny and Animal/Ellering got decent pops. Hacksaw got the HOOOOOOOOOOO pop. HBK got standing ovation and a great pop. The crowd was really happy to see him.
Booker got a good pop (most likely from the remains of the old WCW crowd that were there). JR got a good pop too. Everyone was really happy to see him from my section with a lot of comments of “I’m definitely getting the DVD now that JR is calling the second half of the show”. Cole is a heat magnet. I hope he is either the GM or is a manager. He is awesome in that role. When Swagger came out, everyone agreed that going from winning Money In The Bank to seconding Michael Cole was just criminal. Lawler got a great pop coming out with the AWA/Memphis cape. Stone Cold got an awesome pop coming out on the ATV (not bigger than the Rock’s though). The match itself was okay. The middle of the match dragged. Cole beating down Lawler and using the ankle lock was just so unbelievable. Swagger eating the Stunner got a big pop. EVERYONE where I was sitting wanted to see the piledriver… but we knew it wasn’t going to happen. Lawler’s win got a good pop. Austin/Lawler celebration was fine for what it was. For the record, live, Lawler never drunk any beer, the cameras would pan off him and he would toss them out of the ring. It was real smooth how he did it. Great production. Booker coming in the ring got a good pop. The crowd wanted the Spinarooni and they got it… and then a Stunner. Big pop. Then the GM chime and the overturn. The crowd was chanting BS the whole time. Josh Matthews eating a Stunner made NO sense but the crowd popped anyway. But I guess it was the only way to get JR and King in the booth. If Cole isn’t the GM, this booking made NO sense.
Everyone was very surprised that Taker/HHH was next. Everyone was expecting Snookimania. HHH’s entrance was awesome. I would say that his pop was about that of Austin’s but not quite the Rock. Taker was about the same pop too and his entrance was awesome LIVE. This match wasn’t great from a solid workrate but being there live, there was those moments of “Triple H could really win this one”. The Taker Tope was just awesome. The three Pedigrees, the Choke Slam, Last Ride, and Tombstone all got big pops and the crowd was hanging with the counts. I was shocked to see the chairshot to the head. I cringed like a lot of others in my area, but I will say that since we hadn’t see one in a long time, it meant WAY more. During the finish exchanges with the kickouts, my area started a loud “THIS IS AWESOME” chant and there was that “rumbling” vibration in the arena. The Triple H Tombstone got a huge pop, everyone thought it was over. When Taker kicked out and we got the GameHammer… EVERYONE was looking for HBK… but he never showed. The Hell’s Gate finish was out of nowhere. And everyone around me, including me, thought the finish was anti-climatic…. mainly because we were looking for HBK to cost HHH the match. HHH sold huge after the match and so did Taker… although a lot of us “smart” fans were trying to figure out if he was selling or it was legit. This was definitely the match of the night, purely for emotion, although the ending, LIVE (I’m sure JR sold it well in the broadcast) was kinda lame.
6-person diva match. My whole section went to the restroom. And like the 8-man, I walked off and came back within 5 minutes and it was over.
The Miz “Hate Me Now” promo was awesome, no pun intended. The crowd was popping for the Miz and the promo video. The Miz got a great pop and people were chanting “MIZ IS AWESOME” in my area. While Miz was in the ring, we saw the choir come out and the crowd starting booing. I want to clarify, the crowd was NOT booing Miz (although it may have come off that way), they were booing the choir.
The Cena “DMX Prayer” promo was NOT over with the crowd. The adult portion (majority) crowd absolutely, in the XPac Heat way, HATED this video. They HATED the choir sing. They HATED the Red/White/Blue theme. And they HATED Cena’s entrance. And in my section there was a split of kids cheering and booing Cena. That was interesting.
Side Note, I thought it was really, really lame to use religion, a gospel choir, and the American Flag/Colors to try to get the crowd to cheer Cena. They should just embrace it and turn Cena.
The match itself was nothing to go home about. It was your standard match. The crowd was really just sitting on their hands for the majority of this one. Everyone was waiting on the ref bump and Rock run in… We got the ref bump and a Riley interference. Of course Super Cena could not be pinned. The outside brawl and then collision into the crowd got a pop. The crowd hated the Double Countout and LOVED that Cena did NOT win the belt. They popped for Miz being announced still champion.
Then The Rock came out to the pop of the night. Rock restarted the match and Cena goes the AA and Rock jumps in the ring. The Rock Bottom got a huge pop. Miz pinning Cena got a great pop. Everyone was happy that Miz won. Then Rock got a huge pop for the spinebuster and People’s Elbow. After the show went off the air Rock posed for a while and then left.
I would say that it was great show. I think that the last two matches should have been Cena/Miz THEN HHH/Taker… but if Rock is back and will be in the ring, okay, it makes sense for Rock to close the show.
I will say that this show was awesome to attend live. I am interested to see how it came off on TV. It is definitely time to turn Cena… at least do something like Cena is a face to the kids but heel to everyone else? He needs something. I’m not a Cena hater, but The Marine salute, the lame t-shirts, and the “never die” gimmick is very slate and overdue for a change. But it was an awesome show. Definitely worth the money I paid to see it!
A New ‘Wrestling Wives’ Reality TV Show In The Works
According to TMZ, the guys behind Pit Boss have teamed up with VH1 to produce a new reality show similar to Basketball Wives, titled Wrestler Wives.
Sources have stated that Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman (Booker T’s wife), Stacy Carter (Jerry Lawler’s ex-wife) and Jackie Haas (Charlie Haas’ wife) will be the focus of the show. The show will center around Booker T’s wrestling school in Texas, which Sharmell runs along with Booker.
The Miz-heel
– The Miz is the second WWE Superstar in WrestleMania history to have entered the final match of the evening as a heel and reigned victorious.
The first such instance occurred eleven years ago at WrestleMania 2000 when Triple H beat The Rock, Mick Foley and Big Show in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match to retain the WWE Championship.
In both cases, the winner was subject to a post-match Smackdown from The Rock.
The Rock Backstage At HOF + WrestleMania 27 Attendance
– Neither Vince McMahon or The Rock were in the crowd at WWE’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday night. We’re told both were backstage at the event along with The Undertaker.
– WWE announced at WrestleMania 27 that the ‘official’ attendance at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA was 71,617. Keep in mind that this is WWE’s ‘official’ number. We’ll let you know what we hear.
– A source sent this one in: The match did begin as a US Title match with Sheamus and Daniel Bryan with Lumberjacks at ringside. They wrestled for a few minutes with some nice moves until all the Lumberjacks started fighting at ringside and the bell rang. Teddy Long then came out and turned it into a battle royal. Khali eliminated Sheamus with a big chop.
Backstage Visitors At WrestleMania + Big Problems?
– Paul ‘Pee Wee Herman’ Reubens was backstage in his Pee Wee Herman costume and appeared at WrestleMania last night.
– Chief Jay Strongbow was also backstage visiting. He lives in Georgia. There were tons & tons of non-WWE talents backstage at the event. We’ll have more soon.
– It is being reported that some people had problems ordering WrestleMania from their remote controls and calling their cable providers to order. The hold times were longer than normal as well. More shortly.
WrestleMania 27 Dark Match – Lumberjack Match
U.S. Championship
Dark Lumberjack Match
Sheamus (c) vs. Danyel Bryan
I don’t have a full list but the lumberjacks include William Regal, Chavo Guerrero, Primo, R-Truth and Chris Masters. Daniel Bryan, the challenger, comes out first followed by the WWE United States Champion Sheamus.
Bryan starts out in control, throwing Sheamus over to the lumberjacks but Sheamus is able to get back to the ring. Teddy Long comes out. He said because of outside lumberjack involvement to the match, the bout will now be an over-the-top battle royal. All performers are in the ring working.
Here are the competitors in addition to Daniel Bryan and WWE United States Champion Sheamus:
* R-Truth
* William Regal
* Ted DiBiase
* The Great Khali
* Primo
* Mark Henry
* The Usos
* Chris Masters
* Drew McIntyre
* Chavo Guerrero
* Tyson Kidd
* Evan Bourne
* Yoshi Tatsu
* JTG
The Great Khali won the match, eliminating Sheamus last. The U.S. Title belt was not on the line in the battle royal, so Sheamus is still the U.S. Champion.

WrestleMania 27 Script Leaked – *Spoilers!*
A partial WWE WrestleMania 27 script has been leaked out. The partial script reveals the match order and Jim Ross’ involvement with the event. Here is what we’ve been able to come up with so far:
The following four matches are scheduled to go last at tonight’s event. Jim Ross will call all four of these matches.
Jim Ross is scheduled to come out to call the Lawler vs. Cole match.
The Lawler-Cole match will then be followed by Triple H vs. The Undertaker.
The ‘Taker-Triple H match will then be followed by the 8-Man WWE tag-team match.
The John Cena vs. Miz match will close the event. The Rock will be getting physical in this.
Josh Matthews is scheduled to call the show. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler alongside Josh Matthews and possibly Booker T will be calling the event up until their match.
More as we get it.

– Vladimir Kozlov was seen out on Atlanta in an arm sling to sell his injury at the hands of the Corre.
– Cody Rhodes wore his mask at all times while out in public in Atlanta to hold to his gimmick.

– As noted earlier here on the website, Roddy Piper hinted at having a WrestleMania 27 surprise on his Twitter account. We’ll see tonight.
It’s Official – Big WrestleMania Match Changed
– Mark Henry beat Primo this morning at WrestleMania Axxess.
– Following Vladimir Kozlov’s victory over Tyler Reks yesterday at WrestleMania Axxess, The Corre attacked the RAW Superstar. The faction used the steel steps to crush The Moscow Mauler’s shoulder against the ring post.
Via WWE.com, SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long announced that – as a result of the assault – Kozlov would not be able to compete in the Eight-Man Tag Team Match at WrestleMania XXVII. Instead, Kofi Kingston will assume his position. They have also posted this note on their Facebook.com page as well.
Late-Breaking WrestleMania Plans – Battle Royal, More
– As of late last night, plans call for the annual Battle Royal to take place during the WrestleMania XXVII pay-per-view broadcast.
– The United States Championship Match between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan is also still slated for the broadcast. It’s been speculated that it could be pulled from the show due to time constraints.
– It has been confirmed that Jim Ross will call a few matches tonight at WrestleMania XXVII. Some fans claimed he said at WrestleMania Axxess on Friday that he would be calling the event.
2 WWE Hall of Fame reports inside here
If you are by any chance attending any live events, PPVs, or house shows, you can always send any news and notes to me at this email; yousift19@gmail.com. Thank you!
A source sent this one in: Hey, just got back from the hall of fame. When I walked up to the arena the line was extremely long. Luckily one of the security guards said that inside the CNN center there was an entrance into the arena. He was right and no one was in line so I got in real quick. Once inside I got to my seat, the crowd was hot and ready.
First inductee was Hacksaw Jim Duggan who was inducted by The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. His speech was short and talked about his early days and how many gimmicks he went through before he was finally hacksaw Jim Duggan.
2.) Sunny she was inducted by all the current Divas. She talked about how she got into pro wrestling. She mentioned Chris Candido and the crowd loved the name drop.
3.) Abdullah The Butcher was next and was inducted by Terry Funk. His speech was real short. He thanked his family and wished his mother, father and brother were there to see him get inducted.
4.) The Road Warriors were next. They were inducted by Dusty Rhodes. There speech was really long about 30-40 mins and the crowd kinda died down after 10 mins of them talking. They talked about their early days. Paul Ellering talked about Hawk a little and even brought out a small Hawk action figure.
5.) Next was Drew Carey. He got booed badly and he said he didn’t care cuz he’s skinny, and rich, which got a laugh out the crowd. Now I thought Bob barker was inducting him but Kane actually did the honors. Drew talked about being in the Royal Rumble. He gave a shout out to The Miz and also said that the WWE guys are the best sports athletes on the planet.
6.) Last but not least was HBK inducted by Triple H. HHH made fun of Shawn about his hair, eyes, and about posing for playgirl which was funny. Shawn didn’t say much just thanked the fans and how much he loved this business. After he finished, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, HHH all came out to congratulate Shawn and they did the kliq sign and hugged.
Overall great show I’m right across the street from all the venues so I got back to my hotel rather quickly.
Another source sent this one in: HOF was amazing. Arena was 95% full and was some what odd that the middle part of the arena was half full. Crowd was LOUD. Especially for Road Warriors, Hawk memories and of course HHH and HBK. Overall very fun show and the HBK induction visibly moved everyone. Something very special I got to see and no one better than HBK! Also HBK was visibly nervous and having trouble talking in the beginning. There was some very rude people who would absolutely not let him talk and started annoying a ton of the audience even prompting the audience to ask them to shut up. Security was also tracking these people down to throw them out. The dress code was not enforced at all. Most people did look very nice but a ton of people look like they came off the street. Over all very fun and very cool to see the superstars be just themselves and tell very good stories. Also the Kliq was a very special surprise and the crowd dug it. Can not wait for Mania tomorrow and neither can Atlanta. It’s absolutely buzzing.

2 WWE WrestleMania AXXESS Reports – 4.02.11
Source: PWinsider
I went to my third Axxess session this morning from 8-12. It was a slower start but the place got packed quickly.
Sheamus and Shawn Michaels did in- ring interviews.
There was a wrestler imitation contest in the ring.
Vladimir Kozlov defeated Tyler Reks and after the match was the angle where The Corre jumped Vladimir Kozlov. They hit his arm with the steps. Later on they said that he was “injured” and might not make it to WrestleMania.
Drew McIntyre also defeated Chris Masters.
The talent that I met were: Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez (both really cool), Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust (both very nice), Kane (nice guy), Jim Ross (very personable), Cody Rhodes (awesome guy), and Triple H (really cool dude).
I also got my picture taken with Paul Bearer in The Undertaker’s Graveyard attraction. Paul was very friendly.
It was a crazy day so I didn’t see everyone but the other talent that I saw signing were: Vickie Guerrero, Laycool, JTG, Great Khali, Ted DiBiase Jr and Sr, Sgt Slaughter, Mark Henry, William Regal, Zack Ryder, Jerry Lawler showed up late. The Diva photo booths had Melina, Alicia Fox, The Bella Twins, and Tamina. Most crazy day yet but still awesome! I have 2 more sessions left tomorrow!
A source sent this one in:
I just got back from the 1 p.m. session, and here are a few highlights.
John Morrison did an in-ring Q&A. One person asked him who his favorite person to wrestle was, and he said “Melina.” He laughed and went on to name The Miz, CM Punk, Sheamus, and a few others. He said Snooki had a cheer leading background, and she was going to surprise everyone with her athleticism.
Kevin Nash sat down at the legends table to sign, and everyone started chanting “Diesel.” He signed one autograph and they informed him he needed to move to the “Slim Jim” area table, and everyone started booing loudly as he left the area. Harley Race replaced him at the Legends table. I saw Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Ezekiel Jackson, Justin Gabriel, Chavo Guerrero, Ron Simmons, and there may have been a few I missed. Gail Kim, Natalya, and Rosa were taking pictures with fans.
My buddy won the trivia the contest and afterward was interviewed by a Mexican television station, then spotted by the “Tonight Show” w/ Jay Leno, and they interviewed him as well. So apparently there should be segment on Leno next week dedicated to the fans at Axxess, maybe on Tuesday when Rock appears. They were interviewing some pretty scary people too, so who knows how they will portray it.
Great Khali beat Zack Ryder and Chavo Guerrero defeated Heath Slater.
WWE WrestleMania AXXESS Report 4.01.11
Source: PWinsider
My second day at Axxess was Friday. It was a lot more crowded than Thursday but still really good with more in- ring events.
Matt Striker was having a trivia contest with fans.
Zack Ryder and Tyson Kidd lost to Roddy Piper and Rob Dyrdek.
The Miz did an- in ring promo.
There was a WWE All Stars game competition in the ring. The participants THAT I remember were: Jim Ross, The Usos, John Morrison, Ted DiBiase Sr., JTG, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Masters, Sgt. Slaughter, and Sheamus. As mentioned on the site, Jey Uso won.
I met Maryse and Alicia Fox at a diva photo booth. The other booths had Melina, and Beth Phoenix.
Talent I met were: Wendi Richter (such a sweetheart!), Tamina, Santino Marella, and Vladimir Kozlov (all very cool), Wade Barrett (awesome dude), Justin Gabriel (just as nice as Thursday night), and Teddy Long and Drew McIntyre (both very cool and talkative). Snooki also appeared in a photo booth. You could buy her book for $25 plus tax and she would sign it and take a picture with you. I purchased one and met her. She was pretty cool.
Other talent that signed were Dolph Ziggler, Christian, R-Truth, Alex Riley, William Regal, Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Reks, Trent Baretta, Bill Demott, and Booker T, Roddy Piper, and Arn Anderson. John Cena and Edge signed for whoever had VIPs for them. Overall it was a great day. I will be going back Saturday morning with a VIP ticket to meet Triple H.
More WWE Axxess Notes, WWE HOF Tonight, ‘Mania Note
– Craig Brown from Morning Madness sent the following report from Axxess regarding an autograph session with The Miz: “I got to the signing about 8.30am there was already a lot of people in line waiting to meet The Miz. He come out a bit early, about 8.50 then started the signing. He was ripping in to fans with Cena and Rock T-Shirts. He looked tired but greeted every fan politely and joked with a lot of fans. I said to him, ‘I hope you don’t end up in the Jericho situation (the other people in the feud being put over more important then him).’ He responded, ‘I don’t get overshadowed. I make the shadows.’ I would say overall there was about 180 – 200 people there.”
– The WWE will not be streaming the Hall of Fame ceremony tonight. Instead, they will air the one-hour condensed version on Monday prior to RAW, and then sell the rest on the DVD for WrestleMania XXVII.

Mark Henry Not Happy?, Exclusive Axxess News & Notes!
The following news and notes were sent by numerous sources:
– Attended the Axxess morning session, Mark Henry has to be the biggest jerk in WWE. Completely rude to fans all morning, and he stiffed a kid out of a picture by saying “respect my privacy”. Dude, you’re at Axxess for a reason, to meet the fans!
– Just got done with Morning Madness, Randy Orton was very humble and in good spirits. It took around 2 hours to get through but we joined the line when we woke up rather than rushing down early. On to the ROH next.
– Hi! Justin Roberts just tweeted the following film form Axxes: www.twitvid.com/QTWCQ The Corre attacked him right after his match. HBK teases interference in ‘Taker-HHH match!
Things are really getting busy with WrestleMania XXVII nearly 24 hours away. Things will continue to be extremely busy tonight and tomorrow. Check back in as often as possible guys!!
At this morning’s WrestleMania Axxess Q&A session, Shawn Michaels teased involving himself in The Undertaker vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania XXVII tomorrow.
When asked about Triple H ending “The Streak,” Michaels said, “I’m not sure I can let him do what I couldn’t.”
He then commented on whether he plans to interfere in the match, saying, “I’ll do everything I can not to stick my nose in. Maybe.”
He added, “Do you ever find that you’re meanest to the people you love the most? If I ruined his chances of ending The Streak, I’m sure he’d beat the tar out of me at that moment, but I’m sure he’d forgive me eventually.”
Michaels’ role in the match has not been announced by WWE.
VIDEO: Incident At Axxess Changes WrestleMania Match?
Earlier at Axxess today, Vladimir Kozlov defeated Tyler Reks. Once the match was over, The Core came out and attacked him.
There have been rumors of Kofi Kingston replacing Kozlov in the 8-man tag team match at WrestleMania XXVII tomorrow, and now it looks like that will happen. Below you will find the video of the match and the post-match incident…
Surprises at WWE Axxess, JR to call WrestleMania, Ric Flair

– WWE Hall of Famer Wendi Richter made a surprise appearance at Friday’s WrestleMania Axxess event. She may appear at Sunny’s HOF induction as well. We’ll see later tonight.
– Jim Ross told fans at Friday’s WrestleMania Axxess event that he would be calling some matches at WrestleMania XXVII. This is what we’ve been reporting despite Ross’ constant denial in recent weeks. The denial is likely because he was unaware of the WWE creative plans.
– TNA Wrestling Superstar Ric Flair is staying at WWE’s hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
It is said that he will be attending tonight’s WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, to witness Shawn Michaels’ enshrinement.
More on WWE’s name change, Kong-WrestleMania update
- The earlier report about a meeting held yesterday where the subject was about no longer being called World Wrestling Entertainment due to the desire to eliminate the word “wrestling” from the product is the real deal. This comes on the heels of a WWE representative telling TVWeek.com that they were not to be called a wrestling company. They demanded a Hall of Fame headline be edited without the world ‘wrestling’ in it. TVWeek.com opted to remove the article instead and then posted a follow-up on how stupid WWE’s demands were.
- As noted earlier here on the website, Awesome Kong was spotted at the Atlanta airport. It is worth noting that the company brings in everyone for WrestleMania so she may not debut on the show.
The rumored WrestleMania 27 match order
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution lists the following as the match order for WrestleMania XXVII on Sunday:
* United States Champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
* Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with special referee “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
* Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
* Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel and Wade Barrett
* John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler and Lay-Cool
* Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
* World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio
* The Undertaker vs. Triple H (No Holds Barred Match)
* WWE Champion The Miz vs. John Cena
You can bet that this will change numerous times during the next two days. They’ve gone back and forth on things all week long and nothing is set in stone just yet. We’ll keep you posted but this match order is NOT confirmed.

2 WWE matches at Axxess + Cena’s advice to Snooki
– This week’s episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America featured 11 minutes and 39 seconds of in-ring action, down from 27 minutes and 34 seconds last week.
– Two matches featuring RAW Superstars were held at yesterday’s WrestleMania Axxess event in Atlanta, Georgia.
Daniel Bryan beat Ted DiBiase via submission while Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso in a tag team affair.
– John Cena recalled his first appearance at WrestleMania, which took place in in 2004, to MTV.com.
He squared off against Big Show for the United States Championship, but before his music hit and he walked through the curtain into the arena, he felt distracted.
“I was worried my car was going to get towed,” Cena said. “I was not allowed TK. It was cool because it was a moment of stardom wedged between reality. I truly love moments like that.”
He also offered Snooki advice for her match on Sunday. “I told her it’s just like an afternoon at the shore,” he said. “You’re supposed to go out and have a good time, and if trouble starts, just keep swinging until the cops come.”
WrestleMania News: main event update + battle royal?
– As of today, the plan is still for John Cena and the Miz to main event WrestleMania 27. This keeps changing so stay tuned.
– There will likely be a pre-show battle royal before WrestleMania starts on Sunday. This will be included as a DVD extra and is also a way to get the entire WWE roster to appear at WrestleMania. They also get a PPV bonus for this as well.
Snooki Headed To WWE Full-Time?
TMZ.com is reporting that most of the Jersey Shore cast (except Ronnie) have not signed new deals for season four of the series. This does include Snooki. She is, of course, appearing at WrestleMania 27 this Sunday and has stated repeatedly that when she is done with the Jersey Shore, she wants to become a full-time WWE Diva. If new deals aren’t made, many have speculated that she could stick around WWE. It’s also worth noting that there has been talk that this will be the final season of the Jersey Shore.
